Computer / Electronic equipment policy

This is a specialized cover to cater for computers due to their delicate nature. Under this policy, cover is provided under the following sections.

Section 1 – Material damage. 

Indemnity against any unforeseen and sudden physical loss or damage from any cause not excluded by the policy.

Information required: We shall require the name of the Item as labeled by the Manufacturer, Its Serial Number and value.

Value shall mean the actual cost of the item.

Section 2 – External Data Media - Limit to be chosen. 

Indemnity against loss or damage to external data media (specialized software or database) inclusive of the information stored thereon provided that such material damage shall be indemnifiable under section 1 above.

Section 3- Increased Cost of Working - Limit to be chosen.

Indemnity against additional expenditure incurred following material damage identifiable under section 1 giving rise to total or partial interruption of the operation of the electronic data printing equipment.
